We ensure the sustainability of regional communities

Services

Since establishing Economic Transitions, we’ve successfully completed a range of regional projects and have well established relationships with federal,  state and local government, federal and state government agencies and development agencies, not for profit organisations, and private enterprise across the sectors of economics, tourism, arts and culture, sports and recreation, regional development, skills needs and training, and migration and employment.  We have successfully completed projects in tourism development planning, economic development studies, feasibility studies, business cases, tourism audits and assessments, and sustainable tourism planning.

Community Engagement for Mine Closure

Business Sustainability

We focus on the balance of three core lenses (IDEO) to test ideas, concepts and hypotheses in determining the unique value proposition, and whether it is worth pursuing:

Desirability

We work with community and Traditional Owners to determine what their desires are through a range of engagement.

Feasibility

We then consider the outcomes of the engagement and determine which have the greatest possibility and ability to be achieved.

Viability

Once we have determined the outcomes with the highest desirability and are feasible, we then consider which outcomes are most likely to be sustainable.

Sustainable Development Goals

We ensure project outcomes are aligned with Sustainable Development Goals developed by the United Nations General Assembly and adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015. We work towards outcomes to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnership.
