Engagement with stakeholders, community and Traditional Owners is critical to the successful implementation of mine closure planning and achieving the Department of Mines, Industry Regulations and Safety closure objectives from the development of the Mine Closure Plan through to post closure and monitoring. Economic Transitions has the expertise to facilitate respectful and ongoing communication between mining companies, state, and local government, associated agencies, communities and Traditional Owner groups to ensure post mining land use options and business development is explored, and capacity and capability is harnessed.

We have been engaged as the conduit between Superior Gold and the Traditional Owner groups maintaining ongoing open dialogue between the parties, and developing, implementing, and ensuring sustainability of businesses for the Traditional Owner groups post mine closure.
