Following the Organisational Review for Goldfields Tourism Network Association Inc, we were asked to complete a further project which incorporated a review of the previous year’s operating budget, as well as financial modelling for several operating scenarios with complementary financial and marketing budgets.

Funded by the Shires of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Coolgardie, Menzies, Leonora, and Laverton, and facilitated by the Goldfields Esperance Development Commission, we provided consultancy services to support a review of the organisations purpose and value proposition, strategic narrative, financial status and governance, operating and resourcing model, providing future options, processes and implications. A report was provided to the Board of Goldfields Tourism Network Association Inc and subsequent presentation providing the Board the opportunity to question and discuss the outcomes, as well as meeting with Shire’s representatives.

We were engaged to conduct an operational review of Hoover House B&B and Museum including operations, management structure, customer analysis, skills gap assessment of staff, risk analysis, business goals, and rate’s structure. Peel Cricket Board Strategy 2018 – 2022

Funded by the Department of Local Government, Sport, and Cultural Industries, we were engaged to develop a strategic plan to progress cricket in the Peel region between 2018 and 2022. We consulted with the key stakeholders across the Peel region, Cricket WA, and aligned the final report with Cricket WA and Cricket Australia.

Operational and Management Review of Gwalia Museum and Precinct

Having completed many projects in the Shire of Leonora since 2013, we were engaged to conduct 12-month review of the operations and management of Gwalia Museum and staff.  This included an assessment and review of their operational structure, review of and compliance with standard operating procedures, review of business plan and budget, review of key performance indicators for all staff, skills gap analysis of staff skills and hospitality and tourism training as required, development of an action plan, and recommendations to Shire for sustainability of the business.

Funding Application

We were engaged to work with Target Mining   Resources to complete a funding submission for Regional Economic Development (RED) Grant through the Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission.

Development of a Five-Year Business Plan for the Turquoise Coast Visitor Centre

With our project partner Wanderlust Communications, we were engaged to develop a business plan incorporating organisation, management and governance structure, key personnel, products and services, market position, identification of customers/markets, engagement strategies with local community and shire, review of visitor centre models, sales objectives, membership, business goals.

Funding Application

We were engaged to prepare a grant application to the Department of Health for $1M for the three year period, 2013 – 2016, for ongoing business sustainability. We provided both qualitative and quantitative data to support the extension of the funding, as well as providing desktop research into the current requirement of support services in the region to the south of Perth.

We were engaged to develop a marketing and communication strategy for the Goldfields Esperance region of Western Australia across traditional and new media, including print and online, marketing material, trade and consumer shows, and database management.

Saving Animals From Euthanasia (SAFE) Kalgoorlie

No fee service. We assisted SAFE Kalgoorlie develop a Business Plan which provided a holistic approach to their business and direction for the newly developed volunteer-based organisation.
